Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! I haven’t written anything yet, but here’s a lovely picture to view of Mexican Gold Poppies growing along the Franklin Mountain Range in El Paso, Texas for your troubles…

Steven Green

Steven Green is a creative professional, and photographer of people, places, and things. A retired soldier who has been around the world, his passion for photography began in the mid-seventies while in high school. With a camera at the ready throughout Steve’s travels across America, Europe and the Middle East, he is an accomplished portrait, travel, and event photographer that has been credentialed by the White House, and with works that have been featured in galleries across the world.

Although Steve works primarily in the public sector, he has more than three decades of instructional and project management experience across multiple disciplines, he contributes his services to charitable organizations, occasionally hosts workshops, and can assist organizations of any size in production, design, and direction for internal and external visual media activities.

Steve does not characterize himself as a “niche” photographer. He is a problem solver with many interests; when he sees something he wishes to capture he does what is necessary to get the shot. His niche is shiny object photography, working with cameras, lenses and light. Steve is well-versed in modern post-editing processes available in today’s artistic toolkit.
